About Me
I am a Jackson, Miss. native who grew up in the culture of sports and storytelling in the Deep South. I earned a B.A. in English from Trinity University (San Antonio, Tx.) and M.S. in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University. I began my professional career in Jackson, first as a television sports and news reporter at FOX 40 News (WDBD), then enjoyed a successful run as radio show host at ESPN 105.9 FM The Zone (WRKS), sports writer at The Jackson Free Press, and broadcaster for the NFHS Network. In 2017, I founded my own media company with my brother — Bash Brothers Media — where I am VP and Executive Producer. Bash Brothers has produced acclaimed documentaries, online shows, series and special features. In 2020, I started as digital anchor for KKTV 11 News in Colorado Springs, Co. where I am currently working hard, loving life and playing golf. Check it all out here and welcome!
